Quaze Technologies, a Quebec-based developer of wide-surface wireless power transfer technology and a business unit of US-based Red Cat Holdings (Nasdaq: RCAT), today announces it has successfully achieved official US National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliance certification for both its flagship QU6 Wireless Power Transmitter and its Wireless Power Receiver. This is a vital step in removing a critical bottleneck to persistent autonomous operations across air, land and maritime environments.
The formal compliance assessments were independently conducted and certified by security firm URSA Inc. The certifications confirm that neither the transmitter nor the receiver units contain any active components, radio devices, or data transmission parts sourced from foreign countries of origin defined and covered under the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Blue UAS Policy; specifically, Russia, China, North Korea and Iran.
Securing compliance for both sides of the RX/TX energy link marks a critical milestone for Quaze. It ensures that the entire end-to-end wireless power architecture, comprising both the charging infrastructure (TX) and the onboard platform receiver (RX), meets the rigorous supply chain security standards required for deployment across US military, defense contractor and federal security infrastructure. By eliminating country of origin risks across the complete ecosystem, Quaze enables defense agencies and robotic OEMs to integrate contactless, automated energy delivery without compromising tactical security or regulatory compliance.
The certified hardware provides the electronic spine for Quaze’s agnostic, resilient energy layer that allows any robot to access power without human intervention, across multi-platforms, domains and all allied operations. By removing regular battery swaps, this wireless power ecosystem enables drones, uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (UUVs) and other autonomous systems to charge seamlessly in harsh operational environments. With full NDAA compliance secured for both transmitter and receiver modules, Quaze accelerates its integration across the US and NATO defense sectors, including native deployment within Red Cat’s Family of Systems and open architecture partnership frameworks across air, land and maritime domains.
“Achieving complete NDAA compliance across both our transmitter and receiver product lines is a vital validation of our manufacturing and supply chain integrity,” said Xavier Bidaut, V.P of Products Quaze Technologies. “As autonomous systems become increasingly core to modern defense operations, warfighters and federal agencies must have absolute trust that every component in their tech stack, including power architecture, is secure. This certification clears the path for trusted deployment of our technology to power the autonomous zone for all tactical scenarios in the US and allied nations defense sector.”
