About the Role

As a market leader in autonomous charging for robots, Quaze is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help us take our autonomous robot charging initiative to the next level. The successful candidate will have experience coding on Android and Java and be familiar with best practices in the software engineering field. Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop code for our products, including Java and Android code as well as frontend HTML code

  • Assist with backend and cloud development tasks

  • Work closely with our small team to ensure smooth product development process

  • Develop quality software and native applications

  • Design highly reliable, testable code

  • Discover and fix programming bugs



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 5 year minimum of experience in software development

  • Bachelor or Master degree in software engineering



PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Proven experience developing product code, ideally in Java and Android as well as HTML for the frontend.

  • Development experience with programming languages

  • Having experience with C++ and QT

  • Having some skills with video analysis with OpenCV

  • SQL database or relational database skills

  • Strong skills in backend and cloud development tasks

  • Easygoing personality that meshes well with a small team environment



ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Extended hours and weekend work may be required to support critical project and mission milestones
