About the Role
As a market leader in autonomous charging for robots, Quaze is looking for a talented and driven mechanical engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on developing new products and improving existing ones. They will also be responsible for creating CAD models and drawings, as well as working with the engineering team to ensure that products are manufactured correctly.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing and developing new products using CAD software
Overseeing the industrialisation process and certification process for new products
Working closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure product designs are achievable
Liaising with suppliers and customers as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
5 year minimum of experience in mechanical development
Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Will have experience in designing and developing products
Will be competent in using CAD software (Solidworks, Fusion, Inventor or similar)
Will have experience in overseeing the industrialisation process and certification process for new products
Will be able to work independently as well as part of a team
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extended hours and weekend work may be required to support critical project and mission milestones
